AccuWeather
Devices & Services > AccuWeather adds a location by latitude/longitude plus your own AccuWeather API key - the third of Athena's four weather integrations.
What you get
Current conditions: temperature, feels-like, humidity, pressure, wind, cloud cover, precipitation, UV index, and condition - the only one of the four weather integrations that exposes UV index. Forecast: daily min/max temperature, condition, and precipitation probability, 5 days out. Read-only sensors, working with Dashboard cards, History, and Automations exactly like every other integration.
Polling and rate limits
AccuWeather's own free tier is a hard 50 calls/day, shared across every location on one key - Athena resolves your location's internal AccuWeather location id once at connect time and reuses it on every later call instead of re-resolving it, and polls every 90 minutes to stay comfortably inside budget. The Connect dialog calls the daily limit out explicitly so it's not a surprise later, especially if you plan to add more than one or two locations.
One of four weather integrations Athena supports (alongside OpenWeatherMap, Met.no, and Finnish Meteorological Institute) - if you need more than a couple of locations, AccuWeather's shared 50-calls/day budget is worth weighing against Met.no or OpenWeatherMap's own limits.
