Sun

Computes the sun's own position for a latitude/longitude you type in - no device, no network call, no external service at all. The only integration in Athena where "connecting" is nothing more than plain trigonometry.

Adding a location

Devices & Services > Sun > "Add location" takes a name and a latitude/longitude - there is nothing to discover, unlike Ruuvi's own MAC-based "Nearby" list. Values are computed immediately and refreshed every 30 seconds after that.

What's exposed

• Above horizon - whether the sun is currently up, as a binary sensor.
• Elevation & azimuth - the sun's own angle above the horizon and compass direction, in degrees.
• Next sunrise & next sunset - the next upcoming occurrence of each.

All read-only, like Ruuvi - there's nothing to command, so it works with Dashboard cards and Automation triggers/conditions (e.g. "10 minutes before sunset") but has no actions.
