Google Photos
Uploads photos into an Athena-owned album in your Google Photos library from an automation - handy for a security-camera snapshot or a plugin-generated image, viewable in the real Google Photos app afterward.
Connecting
Sign in with your own Google account, a real OAuth2 login, grouped under one "Google" row in + Add integration alongside Drive, Calendar, and Mail.
What you get
An Album items sensor (how many photos Athena has uploaded so far) and an Upload Photo automation action that adds an image (by URL) plus an optional caption into that album.
Google restricted its Photos Library API hard in March 2025: an app can no longer read or browse your existing library at all - it can only create its own album and manage photos it uploaded itself. That's a limit Google itself imposes on every app, not something specific to Athena.
