LG TV (webOS)

Talks to the TV's own local WebSocket remote-control API - no discovery step, added by address from Devices & Services, paired once, then controlled the same way as everything else.

Pairing is a one-time on-screen accept prompt - the key it hands back is stored so every later reconnect skips the prompt. State is push-driven for power/mute/volume, with a short poll layered on for the foreground app over the same connection. Controls: power, mute, volume up/down, and buttons for the TV's own reported inputs and installed apps.

A Wake-on-LAN helper turns a fully-slept TV back on - its MAC address is entered once at connect time, since webOS's own protocol exposes no way to read it back. LG TV also participates in Athena's unified Media player domain, exposing the same power/mute/volume keys there that its own detail page already supports.
