Logitech Harmony Hub
Switch activities and press any device's own IR commands through a Logitech Harmony Hub on your LAN - add a hub by address, no credentials needed (the hub's own local API has none).
Activities and device commands
One "Activity" entity reflects and switches the hub's own current activity (e.g. "Watch TV", or "Off" to turn everything off) - pick a different one from the dropdown on the hub's own detail page. Every device's own full IR command catalog (as configured in the Harmony app) shows up as one press-button per command, grouped by device.
Unlike most integrations here, Harmony Hub's own local API was never officially documented by Logitech (the product line was discontinued in 2021) - this integration is built against the same reverse-engineered protocol several community projects already use.
Working with the Athena app
Works with Dashboard cards, History, and Automations exactly like every other integration - put a few favorite commands on a Dashboard as quick-access buttons, or switch an activity from an automation.
New and still being verified against real hardware. Because Logitech never
published this API, a few protocol details were educated guesses cross-referenced from several
independent community projects rather than a confirmed spec - one already surfaced and got fixed
(a command that silently failed with no error shown anywhere). If a button or activity switch
doesn't do what you expect, check Athena's own logs (the harmony_hubs/
harmonyapi components) for the real error and report back what you find.
