IKEA SYMFONISK

SYMFONISK speakers (Sonos hardware under the hood) are monitored and controlled directly over Sonos's own local UPnP/SOAP API, added from Devices & Services > IKEA - never through a DIRIGERA hub at all.

There's no pairing wizard; Sonos's own local API has no authentication, so a speaker is added by name and address, verified by a real status call before it's saved. Monitoring covers playback state and volume; control is play/pause and mute. Live updates are polled every 5 seconds.

SYMFONISK also participates in Athena's unified Media player domain alongside Sonos, Spotify, Denon AVR, and the TV integrations - once connected, it can be driven from any Media player Dashboard card too, not just its own device page.
